加拿大總理賈斯汀．杜魯道 (Justin Trudeau) 於週二拜訪了輝瑞位於比利時的工廠，這是他一年多來首次國際出訪行程的最後一天。
這次拜訪緊接在北約峰會後，杜魯道“主要是為了說聲謝謝”；比利時首相亞歷山大．德克羅 (Alexander De Croo) 說，“這是我們國家的驕傲”。
兩位總理走過輝瑞這座已供應加拿大約 1000 萬劑COVID-19 疫苗的工廠，位於Puurs小鎮的工廠目前每月生產 1 億劑疫苗。工廠內使用數千台超低溫冷凍櫃，以攝氏-75度 (華氏-103度) 儲存敏感的疫苗。
Trudeau, De Croo Visit Belgian Pfizer Factory
Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau paid a visit to the Belgian Pfizer factory on Tuesday, on the last day of his first international trip in more than a year.
Trudeau's visit following a NATO summit "was mostly to say thank you," his Belgian counterpart Alexander De Croo said. "It's a source of pride for our country."
The two premiers walked through the Pfizer plant, from which Canada has received some 10 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. The factory in the small town of Puurs is currently producing 100 million doses a month.
Inside it, thousand of freezers are keeping the temperature-sensitive vaccines at -75 degrees Celsius (-103 degrees Fahrenheit).
